LONDON 2012 OLYMPICS WHITE WATER CANOE SLALOM

Whitewater canoe slalom at the London 2012 Olympics took place near Waltham Abbey, north of London. Colour provided the environmental layer to the masterplan and the concepts for detailed implementation, showing how a sporting venue, located alongside a country park could work in harmony. Both the athletes' and visitors' experience were critical to the course design and site layout, with views for TV angles playing a major role.
